The phone camera and AI analyse pulse, breathing, gaze and micro-expressions. As the brain calms down, the music opens up, and you hear your own calm. That is how you learn to self-regulate.
A breathing exercise does not tell you if it worked
You guide the breathing, your client follows the rhythm, and the session ends on an impression. Neither of you knows what really changed in their body. The biofeedback systems that answer this question often cost several thousand euros, with their sensors and cables.
Without feedback
The client breathes in rhythm, without knowing whether their body follows.
Progress is described, never shown.
Every session starts from scratch.
With NeuroEcho
The music responds continuously to their actual state.
A report with figures, written in plain language, at the end of every session.
The history reveals what works for them, session after session.
Feel the loop in 30 seconds
Put on headphones or turn up the sound, then breathe with the sphere:
Press the gold "Start" button, marked with a finger, and keep your finger on it: the trial lasts 30 seconds. On a computer, you can also hold down the space bar.
The sphere grows and "Breathe in" appears: breathe in, finger still pressed.
The sphere shrinks and "Breathe out" appears: lift your finger and breathe out slowly.
Repeat with each cycle. Finger pressed, you breathe in; finger lifted, you breathe out.
The more closely you follow the sphere, the more the music opens up and grows richer. The synchronisation percentage shows it live.
Here, your finger acts as a sensor: it tells the page when you breathe in. In NeuroEcho, you have nothing to hold: the camera reads your breathing and pulse, and the Muse 2 headband, if you have one, your brain activity.
Ready
During the trial, keep your finger on this button or on the sphere. Pressed, you breathe in; released, you breathe out.
Who do you support, and how?
Make calm audible
Your client closes their eyes, and for the first time hears their body relax. What they experience during the session, they can recognise afterwards, without you.
A personal baseline measured in 60 seconds: everyone is compared with themselves, never with a norm.
Sessions of 10 to 30 minutes, eyes open or closed.
A PDF report to hand over or email at the end of the session.
A biofeedback tool, presented as such
NeuroEcho does not claim to diagnose. It estimates, says so, and shows the quality of each measurement so that you judge on the evidence.
Pulse analysed by remote photoplethysmography (POS method), with a signal quality index.
When the measurement becomes insufficient, the music stops adapting: a poor signal is never interpreted.
The camera image is analysed on the device and is never sent or recorded.
Train attention and recovery
Before a deadline, after exertion, between two appointments: your clients practise moving from one state to another and see it in their figures.
An Attention goal, gaze on the central point, for sustained concentration.
A 30-minute Deep recovery session, eyes closed.
The history shows the sound programmes linked to the best sessions.
Your heart coherence practice, finally with feedback
You already practise slow breathing. NeuroEcho tells you what it does for you, and helps you get there faster.
A 20-minute Calm breathing session, guided at 7 breaths per minute.
Your phone is enough, with headphones.
The app installs on the home screen and works offline.
One session, three stages
Calibration
Sixty seconds, still and natural. NeuroEcho learns the person's baseline level, on that day.
Session
The music follows the state continuously. Harmonics grow richer, space widens, then a melody emerges when the calm lasts.
Report
A summary written in plain language, with the session curve, to export as PDF or send by email.
Three ways to read a state
The camera is enough to start. The Muse 2 EEG headband adds the brain's electrical activity and its waves, and the iHealth Air PO3M oximeter a pulse measured at the fingertip, with its tachogram.
Pulse analysed from tiny variations in skin colour
Breathing, its rate and regularity
Blinks and eyes-closed time
Gaze and head stability
Micro-expressions and facial tension
The expert view: each measurement, its curve and its reliability indicator.
The Muse 2 headband
Optional, on Android and computer
Brain rhythms delta, theta, alpha, beta and gamma
Alpha peak and beta to theta ratio
Frontal asymmetry
Contact of the four electrodes, checked live
Six goals with the camera, five more with the headband
CalmEyes open, the state calms down and steadies12 min
AttentionGaze on the central point, attention holds10 min
Eyes-closed relaxationPhone placed in front of you12 min
Calm breathingGuided at 7 breaths per minute, the breath slows down and steadies20 min
Deep recoveryEyes closed, the body releases, the breath settles30 min
DynamicNo goal: brief micro-interruptions highlight each change of state12 min
With the Muse 2: Alpha relaxation, Concentration through the beta to theta ratio, Full calm, which combines the headband and the camera, EEG dynamics, where brief breaks in the music underline changes in brain activity, and Full dynamics, which adds the micro-expressions and breathing read by the camera.
Works with the Muse 2 EEG headband
Brain waves, read live
Resting on the forehead and behind the ears, the Muse 2 picks up the brain's electrical activity through four electrodes, 256 times per second. NeuroEcho filters this signal, sets aside blinks and jaw clenching, then breaks it down into five frequency bands.
During setup and calibration, the head drawn on screen shows the contact of each electrode, and the EEG trace scrolls live before your eyes: you know at once whether the headband is properly placed.
Alpha relaxation: the music opens up when alpha rises above the person's baseline
Concentration: it follows the beta to theta ratio
Alpha peak, the dominant alpha frequency, in hertz
Frontal asymmetry: alpha over the left forehead compared with the right
Muscle tension detected, so that it does not distort the reading
Contact of the four electrodes, checked continuously throughout the session
Left, calibration: electrode contact and the live EEG trace. Right, the expert view: the signal and the five bands.
Five rhythms, five ways of being
Delta1 to 4 Hz
Deep sleep. In an awake person, it often betrays movement.
Theta4 to 8 Hz
Drowsiness, daydreaming, deep letting go.
Alpha8 to 13 Hz
Calm wakefulness, eyes closed. It rises as we relax.
Beta13 to 30 Hz
Active attention, thinking, alertness.
Gamma30 to 45 Hz
Fast information processing. On a consumer headband, often mixed with muscle activity: NeuroEcho presents it as exploratory.
The Muse 2 is optional and connects from Chrome or Edge, on Android or a computer. It is a four-electrode consumer headband: it follows trends from one session to the next, it does not replace a clinical EEG and makes no diagnosis. The states associated with each band are general landmarks, not a reading of thoughts.
Works with the iHealth Air PO3M oximeter
The pulse at the fingertip, and a professional tachogram
Connect the iHealth Air PO3M oximeter over Bluetooth and the pulse measured at the fingertip takes over from the camera: more precise, it is unaffected by light or framing. During the session, a heart beats at the measured rate and the curve scrolls live.
At the end, the report draws the tachogram of the whole session: the pulse second by second on graph paper, its trend, SpO₂, and the figures that matter.
Mean pulse, from start to end, timestamped minimum and maximum
Rhythm: slowing down or speeding up, in bpm per minute
Pulse variations and approximate HRV (RMSSD, SDNN)
Mean and minimum SpO₂
Detailed view: tap the trace to read each measurement and zoom from the whole session down to one minute
Dedicated PDF page, landscape A4, to hand to your client
The oximeter is optional and connects from Chrome or Edge, on Android or a computer. It sends one pulse value per second: the resulting HRV follows trends and remains an approximation of ECG-based HRV.
The Tachogram page of the PDF report. On screen: overview, then detailed view with the reading cursor.
Your client leaves with evidence, not an impression
At the end of the session, NeuroEcho writes a report anyone can understand: what changed, when, with which sound programme, and with what measurement reliability. Three practical tips prepare the next session.
The PDF is emailed in one tap. Over the sessions, the "What works for you" section reveals the music that works best for this person.

What NeuroEcho measures, and what it does not claim
It measures
With the camera and Artificial Intelligence, optical analyses of the physiological state, compared with the person's baseline. With the Muse 2, the EEG activity of a four-electrode consumer headband.
It does not claim
NeuroEcho is a biofeedback and wellness tool. It is not a medical device, an examination or a diagnosis, and it does not replace medical advice.
It protects
Images stay on the device. Sessions are kept on the device. To write the report, only summarised figures, with no image and no identity, are transmitted.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy any equipment?
No. A device with a camera and headphones are enough; noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones are recommended. The Muse 2 EEG headband and the iHealth Air PO3M oximeter are optional.
Is the app in English?
The application interface and the session reports are currently in French. The measurements, the music and the loop work the same way whatever your language, and the essential screens are visual: a sphere, gauges and a curve.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes with the camera, in Safari. The Muse 2 headband and the iHealth Air PO3M oximeter connect over Bluetooth from Chrome or Edge, on Android or a computer; they are not yet supported on iPhone and iPad.
Can a camera really estimate the pulse?
Yes, through remote photoplethysmography: with each heartbeat, skin colour varies very slightly. NeuroEcho derives an estimate from it, displays a quality index, and pauses the music's adaptation when light or movement make the measurement insufficient. Soft light on the face and a steady device give the best results.
Can I use it with my clients?
That is its intended use in practice: you start the session on your device, your client wears the headphones, and you hand them their report. Each session starts with its own calibration.
Where does the data go?
The image is analysed on the device and never sent. Sessions stay on the device. The report can be emailed and exported as PDF.
Is there a subscription?
No. €197 once, and the access is yours.
I am already a NeuroSound client
NeuroEcho is purchased separately, including for NeuroSound clients: it is included neither in NeuroSound access nor in the Premium option. Order with the email address of your account: you can then sign in with the password received by email or with your usual NeuroSound password.
How does access work after payment?
As soon as the payment is confirmed, the app opens in your browser and your login details are emailed to you.
